the princess of hip-hop and r&b is about to ease on down, ease on down the road...ashanti will make her stage debut as "dorothy" in encores! production of "the wiz" at new york city center this summer. (seen here as "dorothy" in "the muppets' wizard of oz" in 2005.) the guy who directed "in the heights" is directing this, so you know it's gonna be good.
its runs june 12-july 5 and i will be there!
